deGraffenried & Associates, LLC was a established in 2005 to serve the legal needs of the business community in Tuscaloosa and surrounding locations in the areas of general corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation, tax law, real estate law, business succession planning, contract drafting and disputes, and governmental affairs. deGraffenried & Associates was created, in part, as a result of Mr. deGraffenried’s ownership interest in several small businesses, including a real estate company, a home building company, and an asphalt paving company.  

Having dealt with and experienced first hand the issues faced by business owners, deGraffenried & Associates offers a unique perspective and approach to offer its clients sophisticated counsel in business related legal matters.
